Prof. Rondinelli with Prof. May (Drexel University) and collaborator Dr. John Freeland (Argonne National Laboratory) received the American Ceramic Society’s Ross Coffin Purdy Award for their article titled, Control of octahedral connectivity in perovskite oxide heterostructures: An emerging route to multifunctional materials discovery, MRS Bulletin, 37 261 (2012) at the Fall MS&T14 Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA. The prestigious award is given to the most valuable contribution to the ceramic technical literature during the calendar year two years prior to the selection.
