Kurt, Nenian, and Josh attended the Fall Meeting and presented this work in a number of symposium. Kurt presented an oral contribution in Symposium II-Phonon Transport, Interactions and Manipulations in Nanoscale Materials and Devices, while Nenian gave a talk on Rational Design of Anion-Controlled Materials in Symposium ZZ—Material Design and Discovery via Multiscale Computational Materials Science on December 2. Josh presented a poster on Multiferroicity in Brownmillerite Ferrates in Symposium JJ—Multiferroics and Magnetoelectrics.
Professor Rondinelli also organized a new symposium (DDD) which brought together light scientists with condensed matter physicists. The symposium titled, Lighting the Path towards Non-Equilibrium Structure-Property Relationships in Complex Materials, was extremely well attended.
